MGNREGA: - 

Objective of MGNREGA: - The objective of MGNREGA is to strengthen and empowers PRI's, creation of durable assets in rural areas.

Guarantee for 100 days work per year for any adult of rural households.

On 2nd October 2009, NREGA was renamed as MGNREGA.

NREGA: - National Rural Employment Guarantee Act

Act enacted in September 2005.

Act came into force on 02 February 2006.

Time & Distance Limit: - within 15 days & 15 kms.

Fund Sharing: - Wages 100% center.

Material: - 75% Center.

1/3 beneficiary must be women.

Wages paid under: - Minimum Wages Act 1948.

SBM - Swachh Bharat Mission.

Objective of SBM: - To achieve Swachh Bharat (Clean India) by 2019 to tribute Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary.

It was launched on 2nd October 2014,

First Phrase (2014 to 2019): - The objective of first phase was the eradication of manual scavenging, giving awareness regarding sanitation practices.

Second Phase (2020-21 to 2024-25): - The objective of second phase is to sustain open defecation free status, improve management of solid & liquid waste.

Tagline / Slogan: - Ek Kadam Swachhta ki Aur.

SBM-Rural: - Ministry of drinking water and Sanitation (Ministry of Jal Shakti).

SBM-Urban: - Ministry of Housing and Urban affairs.

Campaigns under SBM are; 
  • Plastic se Raksha.
  • Swachhta se Pakhwada.
  • Swacchta Shramdaan.
  • Swachhta hi Seva.
SBM is restructured version of Nirmal Bharat Abhiyaan launched in 2009. 

Brand Ambassador 2021: - Dia Mirza.
Brand Ambassador 2022: - Adar Poonawala.

2023 SMB Theme: - Swachhta Hi Seva, Garbage free India.

Pledge of SBM 2023: - now it is our duty to serve mother India by keeping the country neat and clean, I devote 100 hours per year that is 2 Hours per Week, I will never litter not to let other litter.

Swachhta Hi Seva : - Campaign was celebrated from 15th September to 2nd October 2023.

(PMAY) Pradhan Manthri Awas Yojna: - 

Initiative of GOI to provide affordable housing to poor.

Target: - building 2 Crore (20 million) houses by 31st March 2022.

PMAY has two components: PMAY- Gramin & PMAY- Urban.

PMAY- Gramin : - Launched in 1st April 2016.

Objective : - Housing for All.

Ministry involved: - Ministry of Rural Development.

Aim: - The aim of PMAY- Gramin is to provide 2 crore Pucca Houses with basic facilities in rural areas till March 2022.

Beneficiaries: - SC/ST, free bounded labor &  non-SC/ST widows, BPL, disabled persons.

Cost Sharing between Centre and State : - 60:40 in plain areas and 90:10 in hilly areas. 1.2 Lakh in Plain areas and 1.3 Lakh in hilly areas.

Cabinet approved extension of PMAY- Gramin till March 2024.

PMAY-Urban: - was launched in June 2015.

Aim of PMAY-Gramin: - Provide housing for all in urban areas by 2022.

Implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Minimum Size of House: - 25 sq kms with cooking space.
